Engineering Frame Agreement for the construction, repair and modernization of naval assets of the Brazilian Navy, specially aimed to 2 unfinished Patrol Vessesl (Maracanã and Mangaratiba) , part of a of 500t Patrol Vessels class , in which the first two units are already built, commissioned and operational.
Therefore, they originate from a preliminary project specific to DEN (Naval Engineering Board).
These ships will be used, basically, in actions to support the activities affected by the Naval Inspection and exercise inspection in the territorial sea, contiguous zone and exclusive economic zone (ZEE), in accordance with Brazilian legislation..
