Our History

The origins of GHENOVA date back to 1994, when, while still part of GHESA Ingeniería y Tecnología, S.A., the first works in the field of naval engineering began. Later, in 2006, GHENOVA was born as we know it today, thanks to the acquisition through a Management Buy Out (MBO) process by Carlos Alejo and Francisco Cuervas (current President and CEO of the company) of the branches of activity launched from the Andalusian delegation of GHESA Ingeniería y Tecnología, S.A., where both were executives. The acquisition included the naval, civil and aeronautical branches of activity, which brought together more than a hundred people.

Since then, GHENOVA has grown to more than 900 professionals, thanks to a continuous process of geographical and sectorial diversification. Today, after the incorporation of the current Corporate General Manager, Raúl Arévalo, the company is a reference in engineering within the sectors it serves. The growth process has been carried out both organically and through acquisitions or shareholdings in companies such as Tecnor, Ghenova Digital , Bluesolar, Enerocean and Ghenova Siman , which complement and provide synergies to the range of services we provide to our clients.
