THE TECHNICAL SOLUTION
Project comprising civil detailed engineering and piping for three combined cycle plants. Two of the plants are an expansion of the existing ones and the third one is a new construction. Together, the three plants will contribute to more than 1GW of energy in the Bolivian national electric network. This extra capacity will support the maintenance and protection of energy sovereignty in Bolivia.
The operational complexity of the Bolivian TE project should be particularly noted, where three combined cycle plants have been developed in parallel (Sur 373 MW, Warnes 377 MW and Entre Ríos 442.5 MW), being capable of reproducing synergies and adaptations to the singularities of each one, which have allowed the fulfilment of very tight deadlines. In the case of the Sur and Warnes plants, it has also been necessary to integrate the existing installations in the Steam Tailing part and to intensely coordinate with the networks and systems to be maintained.
GHENOVA has developed the civil detailed Engineering and Piping Design with an excellent integration with TSK disciplines, which is reflected in the 3D Model of the three plants.
INTERNAL ASSESSMENT OF THE PROJECT
TSK is fully committed to our engineering. Ghenova’s response, adapting its processes and deliveries to quality standards, the fulfilment of delivery commitments, the resolution of client comments, agility in reviewing supplier documents and quick response to site and supplier enquiries has been highly valued by TSK’s project and construction management.
As a result of this work TSK is relying on GHENOVA and giving us more opportunities both in new developments and engineering support in new plants.
